Our Stylists
Master Stylist/Owner - Cheryl Schofield
I have been hairdressing for 25 years and started Navarjo 7 years ago.
During my career, I have worked for a number of reputable salons and in London for 18 months. Many of my clients have followed me for 25 years.
My biggest passion is weddings and hair-ups and training younger staff. I am also passionate about the mature clientele.
I feel privileged to be part of such a great team at Navarjo and we have all worked so hard to reach our finalist result for the Kitomba Salon Business Awards 2009.
I am so proud of us as we have all entered competitions this year including NZARH Photographic Awards, Apprentice of the year and H.I.T.O. Industry Awards. This has given us more confidence and further passion to continue competing.
I love bringing a smile to client's faces as they leave.

Senior Apprentice/Colour Technician - Anna Gaul
I joined Navarjo Hair Design in December 2007 but have been hairdressing since 2005 as a shampoo assistant. I have just completed my 2nd year of Off Job Training with a 100% pass rate and I am now entering my 3rd year at Servilles Academy in Auckland. Attending Servilles gives me the foundation that I'm able to build on in the salon. It brings me new challenges and learning opportunities which personally, motivates me to put 110% into my work.
Being part of a team has really helped me to be inspired in my work and take and enjoy any opportunity that comes my way. For two years now I have voluntarily helped with Orewa College's Stage Challenge, attended a number of L'Oreal Professional Educational Courses and New Collection Shows. For the first time this year I have competed in the NZARH Hairdressing Competitions and in 2008 I had the honour of being a Northern Region Finalist for Apprentice of the year.
I have always had a real interest in hair and over the years it has turned into a passion. Hairdressing feeds my creativity, my love for fashion and above all I am able to make someone feel good about themselves and make their day.
